Drumstick Leaves, also known as Sahijan, are small to medium in size, with leaflets arranged in a pinnate or feather-like pattern. They are vibrant green in color thanks to their high chlorophyll content. They have a mild, slightly earthy taste with a hint of nuttiness, even more delicate than spinach. Moringa leaves are primarily used in chutneys, dals, curries, and stir-fries, especially in South Indian dishes. They are also used in powdered form or added to smoothies or milkshakes.
